Anchor Pet Bowls
The Anchor pet bowl range was produced in collaboration with Hub Furniture and came in four sizes: small, medium, large and extra-large to accommodate all pets.
Three bespoke satin glazes were created and tested in the studio, and a neutral colour palette in grey and charcoal was developed to ensure the bowls could be integrated into a diversity of interior settings. Each stoneware pet bowl was hand-thrown and turned on the wheel, glazed and twice fired.
The range was distinct as the design considered both the sensorial needs of the animal and the pet owner. The design appreciated and respected animals and placed a high value on the human-animal connection. The resulting pet bowls were a pleasure to touch, high quality, functional and robust enough for daily use.
