These large scale ceramic vases were developed as a collection for an evolving retail showroom concept highlighting natural materials and botanical designs.
Two designs were developed. A smaller U-cut vase, that encouraged asymmetrical botanic compositions was complimented by a larger display vase, which utilised a robust weight for displaying dynamic and large-scale botanical designs.
A wire support framework to sit inside the display vase was also designed and made in the studio. This could be inserted and removed to suit the required design as well as to support larger volumes of foliage and taller botanical arrangements.
