Potter Light
The elemental geometric form of the Potter Light is both simple and architectural in its design. Wheel-thrown by master potter Michael Skewes, Potter Light’s fittings are made using a selection of high-quality Australian stoneware and earthenware clay bodies. Each fitting is imbued with subtle differences in finish and form inherent to an authentically handcrafted object, and the electrical componentry has been designed to complement the handmade nature of ceramic.
After an initial firing, the fittings are hand-finished with glazes developed specifically for our lighting collection and then fired one final time. The clay body and glaze fit are developed together.
